Testimonials
My first encounter with Michelle was listening to her speak at a wisdom Seekers gathering. Since then, I have had the privilege of attending her art class at CCC, her Dreamscapes online dream group,
her Moon Goddess Circles and most recently her ART-x Dreamscapes Unveiled project and all the activities she provided with that. Michelle’s knowledge and talent as well as her warmth and kindness have greatly influenced my journey to be my authentic self!

ARTx is Flagstaff Arizona’s premier Art Festival which featured 30 grant-funded collaborative Experiences which included visual artists, musicians, poets/ writers, movement/ dance and performance
arts. Michelle, as Creative Director and Artist for “The Dreamscapes Unveiled Experience: Exploring Sleep, Dreams, and Art”, provided eleven events integrating Jungian Psychology, Art, and sleep science. I attended several of these Dreamscapes Events. Michelle really understood the spirit of ARTx by including not only visual, musical, performance, and experiential arts in the Dreamscapes Experience. Because of this, The Dreamscapes Unveiled events were the best collaborative arts experiences of the entire festival.
I attended the Gallery Shows of The Dreamscapes Unveiled Experience which showcased individual and collaborative visual works of art by herself, a painter and experiential artist, as well as two other women- a fabric artist and a watercolorist. Michelle provided Informative Gallery Talks on how Jung’s Psychology informed the conceptual show as well as the artists’ creative processes. Michelle also included musicians who were a part of other ARTx grants to play and provided two experiential art activities for gallery attendees.
I also participated in Michelle’s Psyche Speaks Experiential Arts Workshop for ARTx. I was so impressed by with her workshop that used magazine pictures of backgrounds, people, and animals, Jungian
symbols, and a variety of art materials. I was amazed at how quicky the process focused right on my issues of concern and struggle. The experience brought me in touch with my creative Self and using that part of me to enlarge my potential solutions and begin moving forward. I was also impressed and comforted with how Michelle created such a safe space with community members who did not know each other that allowed me and others to speck about our experience in a deep. Personal manner while still maintaining an appropriate level of sharing.

I have had the opportunity to be part of the Community Education classes that Dr. Michelle Gray has taught at Coconino Community College since 2023, as well as the experiential workshops she provided
at the ARTx Festival in the Spring of 2024. Michelle Effectively blends her extensive history as a psychologist and as an artist to create safe, unique, and connected interactions. Through Michelle’s guidance, I discovered a completely new way to process experiences and express emotions. I have always been someone who has kept a written journal, but Michelle opened an avenue of creative
expression, using numerous art media, that has brought a greater understanding of who I am today, how prior experiences shaped me, and who I can become. It was like being handed a gift. I look forward to future creative endeavors in a world Michelle opened for me.
